The UK branch is located on the site of Mitsubishi Air Conditioning Systems Europe in Livingston, Scotland, the European factory for production of air-conditioning systems. The British facility is the only Mitsubishi Electric plant in the world to have the manufacturing and R&D functions operating side by side.
